The past few days were special in several ways. The fact that we are traveling once again, but also that we could celebrate with our friends that the first Pentecostal church was planted a hundred years ago in Burkina Faso, makes the past days very special. It reminds us of this: no matter how small we start out, God will always make it bigger! The future of the church in Burkina Faso is amazing! You helped by:

– Joining us in prayer for the church
– Together we trained thousands of leaders during the conference
– Together we were able to give away thousands of books
– Together we experienced a mighty outpouring of God’s Spirit
– Together we gave in order to make all of this possible

During my travels in Africa I received a message from my friend in Pakistan. There world is slowly opening up there too and people are starting to gather again. He asked if I wanted to come in April. We are praying about this and need a huge financial miracle for this. Should God speak to your heart about this, then please don’t hesitate to contact us about it.

Today is a special day. There is no other place on earth that I know of, where I experience the presence of God like this. Don’t ask me why that is. I don’t know. I do know, however, that I shared my message for the most part in tears. Then people broke out in prayer. I felt like they were storming heaven’s gates!

The Fire Conference has ended, and I feel like I have received so much myself. Everyone received a book from us. It was an amazing moment.

The coming days we will be celebrating the 100-year anniversary with the Pentecostal church. Sunday evening I will be able to close with the last message. Thank you for your prayers!

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

It is pretty special to travel in a time like this. Our government has advised us to only travel if it is absolutely necessary. This is a necessary trip. In the past years we and our local friends have greatly anticipated this moment. Alongside the Pentecostal churches we celebrate that exactly one hundred years ago the first missionaries brought the good news of Jesus to this nation.

We had planned a large campaign, as well as a conference because of this anniversary. Covid-19 is also present in Africa, but thankfully not like it is in our home nation. After consulting the local government it has been decided that the conferences could still take place, but the campaign of around one hundred thousand people would not be a good idea.

I was disappointed for a moment, but yet I knew we still needed to go. We changed our strategy after receiving wisdom from Above. The coming three days I will share my heart with thousands of pastors and leaders. They will also receive a copy of my book “The Gospel Lives!”.  This book has opened the door to this nation for me. I received an invitation after someone had read my book; now nearly ten years later we can distribute 5000 books! When you think of what one book can do, then what is the impact of thousands of books? We pray that God will do what only He can do.

To top it all off, we have learned that through the media we will still be able to reach hundreds of thousands of people here, and later even millions in all of West Africa. The entire conference will be broadcasted on TV!
